The House Corp. has recently approved the nomination of two new members to the board, Jeff Skillman ( ’10) and Justin Lane ( ’13) which will be presented to the chapter formally at STAG and voted on. We have posted brief bios for them below so that you may get to know them a little better!

Jeff Skillman is a Baker Delt and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2010. During his time at Baker, Jeff served as treasurer, vice president and president of the Delt House. Jeff attended 3 Western Plains division conferences, a Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C., and the 2008 Karnea in Pittsburg, PA. On campus, Jeff was very involved in various organizations across campus, was a University Admissions Assistant (campus tour guide) and also served as an Alpha Chi house boy for 3 years. After graduating, Jeff took a job with Uhlig LLC in Lenexa. However, that was short-lived when the opportunity to join Boulevard Brewing Company came up. Jeff spent 2 years living in Springfield, MO covering the SW Missouri territory. In June 2012, Jeff married Baker grad Emily Burks (Baker ZTA). At the beginning of 2013, Jeff left Boulevard to pursue an opportunity with Macmillan Publishers as a publishers’ representative, bringing him back home to Kansas City to be with his wife and around family. Jeff and Emily currently live in Olathe, KS. Jeff still drinks plenty of Boulevard beer, though! Jeff’s interests include anything related to Kansas City sports (Royals, Chiefs, Sporting KC, KU), slow-pitch softball, fire pits on the back patio, craft beer (of course!) and he and his wife’s new puppy!

Justin Lane is a Baker Delt and a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of Baker University. During his time as undergraduate, Justin served the chapter as Sergeant-at-Arms, Risk Management Chair, and House & Grounds manager. Justin attended conference in Kansas City and looks forward to attending future conferences as an alumni. Justin currently works as Audit Associate in Kansas City for KPMG, a Big 4 public accounting firm. Justin’s personal interests include cheering on local professional sports teams, watching movies and television shows of all varieties, and working out at Title Boxing Club.
